During a Specialized Operations Branch operation on Princess Street in downtown Kingston on Thursday, police seized two firearms and ammunition, and took seven people into custody. The group included one woman, but their identities have not been released.
According to reports, at approximately 5:00 pm, officers searched a wholesale business. There, they discovered “one Taurus 9mm pistol fitted with a magazine containing four .40mm rounds and one Taurus G3C pistol with a magazine affixed containing six 9mm rounds.” Authorities also seized a third, empty magazine.
